In grappling disciplines, effort — and bacteria — are shared. Over time, heat and perspiration embed odour deep into training apparel, no matter how carefully it’s washed.

What we discovered was simple: most laundry powders and deodorants don’t solve the problem.
They mask it.

Fragrance creates the illusion of cleanliness, but the bacteria remains. The moment heat and movement return, so does the odour — carried back into everyday life, into our home.

We weren’t willing to compromise health or performance by introducing harsh chemicals just to cover a deeper issue. Clean gear had to mean genuinely clean.

Naturopia was created to remove odour at its source — breaking down the bacteria that cause it, rather than concealing it.
